I work with adult clients who are experiencing a variety of issues, such as divorce and relationship issues; family issues; bereavement and loss; anxiety; generalised anxiety disorder; depression; anger; trauma; childhood abuse; addiction; eating disorders; self harm; low self-esteem.

I practise an integrative, person-centred approach which focuses on the relationship between counsellor and client. It is the development of trust and understanding within this relationship and the provision of a sensitive, confidential, non-judgmental environment which enables the client to acknowledge their problems and issues at their own pace and to realise solutions, with gentle encouragement and support.

Using this approach as the basis of my work, I ensure that the therapy that I offer best suits the needs of my clients, by integrating other methodologies such as Creative Therapies, Psychodynamic, CBT and Existentialism into my practise.

I am particularly interested in childhood experiences and how they have impacted and

influenced individiuals' lives.

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and I am a BACP Registered Member, bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

I am a qualified Creative Therapy practitioner.

I have completed a course in Couples Counselling.

I have worked with adolescents and children in schools and hold enhanced DBS certificates to work with vulnerable adults and young people.

I hold Professional Indemnity Insurance.

I am committed to developing myself and my practise and have attended a course working with female survivors of sexual abuse and violence.
